Nope, this is a nice, non-destructive install. The only thing you will have to do is create a tiny hole in the carpet with the bradawl tool provided. This is for a bolt to pass through, and is totally unnoticeable once the bolt is removed.

Yes, many customers are loving this added benefit! The kit doesn’t interfere with the movement of the front seat – so you can now lean the front seat back, tension the rear seats flat with our system, then put a mattress over the top.

The front seats will never fold flat (as this system achieves with the rear seats) but the angle you can achieve still works great for most.

Yes, absolutely. The rear storage compartments don’t interfere at all with the movement of the rear seats. This kit is designed to bring the seats up and down as you needed.

Yep, easy, you will still have access to the middle and rear tie-down rails. Allowing you to secure loads in the boot space, using our Quick Clip Straps.

Yes, these two storage compartments can stay fixed in place whether seats are up or down.

The false floor/storage compartments have a depth of 110mm. From false floor to roof lining is then 825mm.

We've tested this kit extensively, often for 2 week periods with the seats strapped down. In all of our testing the foam quickly returned its original form.

We'd still recommend releasing the rear seats between trips, just to be safe. This is as simple as loosening and unhooking the straps, which takes about 30 seconds.

The intention isn't to leave the seats down permanently – the system is designed for trips (long or short) where you need a flat loading area.

No worries, these are part of the kit, and are easy to install.

Yes, there are a couple of ways to position and secure your fridge to keep access to the storage compartments.

If your fridge is under 50cm wide, the simplest way is to orientate it side-on across the two rear seats, and secure it. This works great with the Jimny 5-Door, as you can access the fridge by opening the rear door/s.

If your fridge is under 75cm long, you can orientate it lengthways, secure it, and still have access to the rear storage compartment.

The tie-down system is designed for our Quick Clip Straps. They ‘clip in’ perfectly to the rectangular slots you will notice on the kit.

Other tie-down methods may work too, but the slots aren’t designed to have a strap threaded through them. This would be fiddly!

If you’re not worried about securing gear in the back, you won’t need the straps.

The kit has the flexibility to accommodate seat covers unless they are particularly bulky around the bottom of the rear of the seat. As long as the covers are less than 10mm thick at this point, you’ll have the clearance required.

Avoid any bunching of the material at the bottom of the seat, and the seats will move freely.

Yes, absolutely. You will still have clear access without having to take anything apart.

The compartments follow the contours of the interior trim on each side, so length does vary slightly.

Front compartment: 1005mm max length/945mm min length x 265mm wide x 110mm high.

Rear compartment: 970mm max length/850mm min length x 250mm wide x 110mm high.
