We have tested in a huge variety of conditions, and have never heard the Inbetweener on the roof.

The Mighty Platforms are our expedition racks, with greater surface area and the added benefit of perimeter rails. The Inbetweener is the nimble and super lightweight option. Both have the same base – our Strong Boy Bars.
The Mighty Smart Rack utilises the same bar spacing as the regular length Inbetweener. The Mighty Long Rack utilises the same bar spacing as our Inbetweener Stubby. Some of our customers move between the two variations. Mighty Platform for bigger missions. The Inbetweener for super lightweight adventures.
There is also a neat way to combine the two. You can remove a couple of ‘middle bars’ from either Mighty Platform, and attach an Inbetweener in their place – giving the Inbetweener the added benefit of perimeter rails.
