Yes, our roof racks are fully equipped to attach T-slot mounted accessories. This is the cleanest and most secure way to attach, and the modern industry standard. The majority of bike/ski racks and canoe carrier manufacturers now use this t-slot system.

If you have an accessory that isn’t t-slot mounted, the manufacturer may well stock a t-slot mounting kit to convert. Otherwise, there is almost always a way to make the attachment work. Get in touch and we’ll help you out.

Short answer, yes.

Our Strong Boy Roof Bars are tested up to a static load of 200kg (eg. a rooftop tent + two humans). They also have a t-slot mounting system which suits most roof tents. Our 3-bar kit will provide even more strength and stability.

It is definitely worth considering Suzuki’s specified 30kg dynamic load rating for the Jimny itself, however. The car’s light weight and short wheel base means its performance will be affected by this kind of weight on the roof – especially on stock suspension.
